Marvin Windows And Doors - Leaking patio door

Marvin Windows And Doors - Leaking patio door
Sliding patio door leaks. It damaged the ceiling below. Their rep is unresponsive. I am not happy. I have to seal the door from outside with a duct tape to stop water getting into the tracks.

I had Marvin's best patio door installed by a reputable installer. Even the Marvin tech admitted the installation was excellent. Marvin's Ultimate In-swing patio door with two stationary panels leaks like a sieve! After 5 months of waiting weeks between tech visits and...

I had to replace my living room 2 sliding door. I purchased 4 Marvin doors from one of Marvins authorized dealers. It should be the best door on the market. Marvin sliding door quality not acceptable. Left broken screw in the door lock, stripped screws head, uneven...

The inside sheet of tempered glass in our moving panel in our 2 year old Marvin sliding glass door spontaneously shattered in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. We took pictures and sent them to Marvin. Their response was to charge us $1500 to fix the...

We built our house between 1989-1991. Beginning in 2005 the window balances began to fail. Within two years about half the windows needed replacement balances. Marvin sent a representative. He said the warranty wouldn't cover replacement. I bought new balances and...

Marvin Windows And Doors - Continuing Problems with Marvin Integrity Windows and Paint Peeling
We installed a set of Marvin Integrity windows in 2014. The paint started to peel off within the first year. Back and forth with Marvin for a year and they finally agreed to repaint the windows. They promised that the finish would be as good or even better as the...

If you look at the second picture, there is a definite gloss to the finish. Integrity’s finish is matte. Also, if you look at the flaking under the pissed consumer wording, th...

Marvin Windows And Doors - Unhappy with Marvin

Built a new house 2.5 years ago. The sliding doors are a constant problem. Both the screen doors and the main doors stick constantly. Terrible product. Marvin wad a pain to deal with during the construction process, not meeting their agreed upon delivery schedule and holding up our project. I wrote to them and never received a response. I am so sorry we used them. They don’t care; they suck.

I called Marvin because my Marvin door was sticking and it was hard to close and open. Since my door was no longer under warranty, I had to leave a $200 deposit with my Visa in order to get a call from the service person. Ray called and left a message on a Wednesday...

Our builder used Marvin windows also (Integrity). I had previously had Anderson windows and screens. I absolutely hate these screens- little plastic pegs are all that holds the screen in- but none of the screens fit tightly- gaps big enough to let in all little gnats...

I agree. Valid statements. Mine leak cold air like a sieve also. Yeah bugs come in too. Ruined my house by spending 12 k on the project

Yes, Marvin screens are the worst! We have "cheap vinyl" windows in a vacation home which were installed 16 years ago, and the screens are solid as a rock. Our 3-year old $22,...
